If you plan to install a barn door in your home, follow these steps (provided that you buy the door panel and hardware in advance).
First, if you want to replace the old door with a new one, make sure that the walls on both sides of the door are wide enough.
The second step is to remove the old door by unscrewing the hinge on the old door frame with a screwdriver or electric drill.
The third step is to correctly install the hardware and lifting rail according to the instructions of the door hardware kit.
The fourth step is to paint your door panel (please ignore the fourth and fifth steps if you want to customize the finished door panel).
Step 5: when the paint is dry, turn it over and brush the back. After both sides are dry, apply another coat if necessary.
